Belgacom Mobile is Belgium's market leader in fixed-line, mobile, broadband and Internet services. Belgacom has been utilizing a Teradata Warehouse since 1997 and has recently launched a new Teradata Enterprise Data Warehouse and implemented Teradata's Communications Logical Data Model (cLDM) to drive strategic and tactical analysis.

The system integrates data from various internal applications, such as billing, order management, network 2G/3G traffic and handset management. Now Belgacom Mobile can go beyond call detail records to collect call center information, visits to walk-in customer service "teleshops," repair records, marketing communications and other event-based information. The result is a structured and intelligent information model that enables Belgacom Mobile to better evaluate and manage activities in key areas, including customer management, product analysis, revenue management, and finance and performance management.
