Caixanova

Caixanova is a leading Spanish financial services provider with approximately 400 offices that is currently increasing its presence in the main Spanish financial markets.

Caixanova has deployed a Teradata Enterprise Data Warehouse solution. The multi-phase project includes the development of a corporate information system that will give users a single view of the bank's consumer, information technology and finance data. Access is enabled through the Teradata platform, which will be integrated with the bank's legacy systems.

Projects currently being implemented include a system to measure profitability, a system to support Basel II and a solution for fraud prevention. The bank will also use Teradata's Financial Logical Data Model to dramatically accelerate the development of the data warehouse.
