American Red Cross

Some four million people give blood through the American Red Cross, making it the largest supplier of blood and blood products in the United States. The American Red Cross will use its Teradata Warehouse to perform non-FDA-regulated reporting about blood supply.

As part of the agreement, the organization will be utilizing Teradata hardware, software and professional services to migrate its Teradata Warehouse system to the headquarters data center in Washington, D.C. The American Red Cross currently uses Teradata Warehouse to monitor a large number of business metrics and to identify opportunities for improvement.
