Auto Club of Southern California

As one of the largest U.S. affiliates of the American Automobile Association (AAA), the Auto Club of Southern California serves six million members from more than 70 offices in 13 counties. The club, founded in 1900 by ten auto enthusiasts, provides 24-hour roadside assistance, travel planning, auto pricing, buying and maintenance services, and a host of insurance plans.

The Auto Club of Southern California recently upgraded its 3-node NCR 5400 server production system used for business intelligence, marketing, actuarial analysis and finance. The upgrade provides much-needed capacity and includes an additional node as well as consulting by Teradata Professional Services.
