What is a T-Pass?

A T-Pass is a convenient electronic passkey that gives you single sign-in to all of Teradata.com. It's a one-time registration. And once you have your T-Pass, you can register for any Teradata event or request one of our free offers. You can travel from Teradata.com to the Teradata User Group, where you can sign up for regional meetings or review articles in Teradata Magazine.

Your T-Pass registration also means you can subscribe to an array of online publications. Get free subscriptions to Teradata Magazine Online and the What'sNew@Teradata monthly e-mail update. There's more information on our Publications page.

How do I get my T-Pass?

To get your T-Pass, simply register now. We request that you enter your e-mail address, select a password and provide some basic information. You also have the option of subscribing to publications at this time.

What if I already registered?

If you've already registered, you may want to update your existing preferences. It's easy. Simply login and update your contact information or subscription options.

Why do I have to login?

When you return to Teradata.com, we ask for your T-Pass login for security purposes. Your login authorization is made up of your e-mail address and a password of 4 to 10 characters that you select. It's the easiest way to access all of Teradata.com and the simplest way to register for our events and promotions. If you forget you password, select the "Forgot password?" link and we will e-mail it to you. You can also set your preferences to automatically log you in with each visit.

How do I change my password?

You can change your password at any time by choosing "Update contact information" on the Preferences page.

How do I update my profile?

Once you answer the questions on the T-Pass Registration Form, all your data will be stored as a personal profile. You can update your profile at any time by logging in and selecting "Preferences" at the top of each page. You will be able to edit your contact information and change your subscriptions.

What are the Technical Requirements for Teradata.com?

To use Teradata.com to the fullest potential you need the following:

A JavaScript-enabled browser such as Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer version 5.0 or higher.

For those on an Apple operating system, we recommend that you use the latest Mozilla Firefox or Safari browser.

What is "E-mail This Page"?

"E-mail This Page" allows you to send a URL for certain pages to a colleague via e-mail. Click on "E-mail This Page" and follow the instructions on the form. Please note that URLs for PDFs cannot be forwarded. You may wish to reference the name of a specific item in the comment section of the form if you are sending the URL for a page containing multiple items.

When you forward the URL for a page from Teradata.com to a colleague, you take responsibility for sending the page and the comments you make. You should be certain that the recipient wants to receive the forwarded e-mail since it is coming from you. Any comments you include should be appropriate. Please limit your use of forwarded e-mails to a maximum of six colleagues at a time. Recipients of your e-mail will not be contacted for marketing purposes without permission; however, forwarding data may be tracked for statistical purposes.
